November was National Sleep Comfort Month, did you know this??
We did not, we nominate every day to be sleep comfort worthy, because no-one can escape those bad nights: especially now that we’re married, and have to suffer the ‘too hot with two in the bed’ syndrome, ‘someone snoring in your ear’ discomfort or the ‘someone taking the covers off you’ dispute. No-one told us this… the idea of sleeping in a bed with your partner is so hyped up and materialised, I mean, spooning is nice, but not very practicable when one sleeps in the stork position.
This is the same case as sleep style. We were challenged by Casper, a new company in NYC that makes memory foam mattresses: What do stylish people wear to bed? What’s your go-to outfit for a night of beauty sleep? I’m sure people do wear some cute pyjamas or silky slips, and it would be nice if we all looked like Victoria Secret models when we sleep (see above, and if you missed the Victoria Secret Show last night in London, get the Angels All Access pictures here ) but with our hectic lifestyle at the moment, by the time we even think about going to bed, its 1am - and the only thing we’re thinking about is how comfortable can this sleep get!?
So for us, it comes down to Comfortable, Breathable and Minimal.
For me at the moment, that’s boxers and a cashmere - now that its the start of Winter.
In light of the London Victoria Secret Show, catch some comfy cashmere’s from VS on sale here.
Here’s two of my fav picks:
Since we are always on the move recently, one of the things we realised we took for granted is a damn good mattress. It’s worth checking out Casper, they use the same ethos as us: Comfortable, breathable and minimal. It just does the job, check out all the reviews here.
We were sold on two things, Ashton Kutcher and Nas are investors in this company (must be good, right??), plus they have the cutest way of delivering these mattresses to you – on messenger bikes!
